Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser.
Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser - £24.99 *
I've completely fallen for butter cleansers/cleansing balms at the moment, and this Organic Grapeseed cleanser from Antipodes is at the top of my most used list.
I've said before that I'm all about using natural and organic skincare that contains no nasties, I suffered from awful skin for years before I converted to the good side and it's done me very well so far.
This butter cleanser is a bit like coconut oil, it's solid at room temperature but melts when you work it in to your palms. I spread it all over my face and spend a few minutes massaging it in to dissolve makeup and other grime. I then use a face cloth in warm water to gently remove, it takes all dirt with it to reveal smooth, cleansed skin.
Whilst this seems like it would be too rich for oily skins, it actually regulates and balances the skins natural oils. It suits all skin types, leaving skin cleansed, nourished and gently exfoliated.
My skin feels heavenly afterwards, really soothed and moisturised.
I'm definitely in to my natural brands at the moment and Antipodes, an Organic brand from New Zealand, is one of my favourites.

I've been considering this purchase for awhile. I like the Saaf Skincare pure face cleanser but it's on it's last legs. Might have to get this after seeing as it's raved about so much. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never tried a butter cleanser before but this does sound really interesting!

I LOVE this, it's such a good cleanser xx
ReplyDeleteHey Kate, thanks for the recommendation. I'm currently looking for a new cleanser and this really sounds amazing. Only the price is a little scary. How much do you approx need for one cleaning? And how long does the pot last?
ReplyDeleteI really want to try this when my EH runs out! Can you use this on your eyes? xx

I've become curious aboutu butter cleansers/cleansing balms as well. I have a little "skincare" list of items I'm going to try after the Christmas (christmas money ftw!), and this one might have to be added to it.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard about butter cleansers before! Might have to try this out, as gel cleansers don't seem to do anything for my skin. This, however, sounds amazing c:
ReplyDeleteI tried a sample of this but it made my face break out in this strange, bumpy, red rash! I was so sad, because I really love the idea of this cleanser. So glad it's working for you!
ReplyDeleteThis is on my christmas wishlist and I certainly hope Santa got the message. I've heard so many great things about Antipodes x
