New things.

Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask//Simple Eye Makeup Remover Wipes//Avene Cleanance Gel//No7 concealer Brush// Barry M lipstick 147 //Simple Oil Balancing Wash & Scrub.

The best thing about working where I do is that you learn the most popular products, which usually means they're really, really good.
An example of this is the Avene Cleanance Gel, which regularly sells out so I knew I had to get some. It's soap-free which means it won't dry out your skin. The problem with some of the other face washes for blemish-prone skin is that the ingredients will leave skin feeling tight, dull and dry. A lot of people who suffer from blemishes actually have a combination of oily and normal/dry skin so although it can help the oily areas, it's drying out other areas such as the U-zone. This product is really good at deep cleansing and blemish fighting and I can already see results. Avene are a great brand, especially if you have any skin concerns such as redness, dryness, allergies and all their products are formulated for sensitive skin.

I'm also a big fan of the Sanctuarys skincare, and as Boots have an offer on at the moment (although ending soon!) where you get a £5 facial skincare voucher when you spend £3.50, I have been stocking up on my much-loved Sanctuary products. I bought this Warming Detox Mask and it's heaven! I love warming masks, and it feels like I'm really treating my skin every time I use this.

I bought these Simple eye make up remover wipes as I find them so much easier to take off makeup rather than buying cotton wool pads and a separate makeup remover. These aren't oily or greasy so I don't need to worry about giving my face a quick wipe (to take off the inches of foundation I wear!) afterwards. These are great, especially if, like me, you travel a lot!
I also invested in the Oil Balancing wash and scrub, as a girl at work said it was great. These washes are great as they don't strip the skin of its natural oils (which in turn leads to your skin producing more sebum to cope) but takes away any excess oils leaving your skin deeply cleansed. Loving them both, I use the wash every day in the shower!

I bought this No 7 concealer brush because I use them at work so I know they're lovely. They seem a lot fluffier than my MAC foundation brush, which feels like I'm painting my face when I use it. It's also a bargain at £7.75! A really gorgeous brush, it's great for doing around my nose and eye area.

Lastly, I bought this Barry M lipstick in 147 and it's my absolute favourite lipstick of all time (overreaction). Its a gorgeous peachy orange and just looks absolutely amazing. I think it'll look slightly different with a tan too which is a bonus. Two lipsticks in one. You really can't fault Barry M lipsticks, they're amazing! I was actually wearing this lipstick in this post.

  11. Part of me hates it when you do a little review on products and tell me how good they are because you just convince me that I need to have them in my life! I'll be sure to get back to you if I'm not 100% satisfied with this product! :) xx

  18. I absolutely swear by the Simple skincare. The eye make-up remover wipes I buy whenever they're on offer because they're great for when I'm at the pool and realise I haven't had time to take mascara off before coming out or for travelling which I do a lot of. The scrubs are amazing too and the oil balancing moisturiser has been my real life saver.

  19. Gosh as a skincare consultant I'd love you to have a look at my skin for me girlie! :( My skincare routine is pretty much non existant. I wouldnt even know where to start, and would worry about certain brands etc just being biased if I asked someone in Frasers, for example, for advice. Might need to check out some of the facial thingymabobs you've mentioned in this post :) x

  20. I really rate the No 7 concealer brush, I've had mine for a couple of months and it's served me well. The No 7 foundation brush is terrible though, it didn't take long before the bristles started to fall out.
