Models Own Polishes.




Models Own are probably my favourite nail polish brand, I love the colours and the packaging and they're often on 3for2 at Boots. Recently I was sent a couple of colours to try out and also picked up "Blooboo" in a 3for2 on makeup at Boots.
I received Cherry Pie and Nude Beige, and to be honest these aren't usually colours I'd buy. I'm more about obvious colours, hence "Blooboo" but Cherry Pie is a gorgeous red/brown with a lovely sheen which would look lovely with the Nude Beige as polka dots.
I'm trying to be a bit more inventive with my nails, I'm quite impatient when it comes to painting them and can't wait for them to dry. Whenever I know my nails have to dry I suddenly find a hundred things to do.

I thought I'd mention a friend of mine who makes me seriously jealous with her nail painting! Tamsin posts all her nails on facebook which is really inspirational. I'd love to be able to do her galaxy nails and her water marbling tutorial is amazing. So check out her tumblr, and let me know what you think!
Also, if you can suggest any other tutorials/nailspiration that would be wonderful!

Bit of a short post as I'm still on my skincare training (but getting heaps of new stuff to review!) hope everyone is GREAT. Loves x

    Models own is also my fave.. they dry quick too which is a bonus.. like you, I always find a million things to do when I have wet nails lol :)

    i'd really love to try models own polishes, i'm addicted to barry m because they're really affordable and great quality, but i suppose i should slash out an extra £2 and try one hah!

    i love in australia and we dont have this brand here but i recently got a 5 mix from the website cos id heard good things and I LOVE them, ill definitely be getting some more and theyre cheaper than most of the brands here too which is great.

    i love nail art, but i'm exactly the same, i'm so impatient and i can barely let one coat dry without smudging them! i doubt i could get through all the steps needed to have such lovely nails. plus i'm not able to wear nail varnish at work, so it unfortunately never seems worth more than just a solid coat for one day off at a time. haha.. oh, the life of a waitress!

    I know what you mean by being impatient when your nails are drying. I´m exactly the same. Are you using some of those sprays to get the dry faster? I dip them in cold water sometimes and find it quite helpful but there´s always a risk that something will get blahed....
