♥ Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion: Although I don't believe the claims that it will firm my skin, my flatmate told me this is a really good body lotion so I've been using it lately. It is really nice, lovely scent and absorbs well. My legs were really dry recently and this has sorted them out & prolonged my fake tan.
♥ Kiehls Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleanser: I've spoken about this before, I tried a sample and fell a bit in love. I've been trying to stick to a regime for a while, but I only use this every few days. It leaves my skin so smooth as it has small exfoliating particles to buff the skin. Very good for oily/blemish prone skin.
♥ Clinique Take the Day Off Eye Makeup Remover: I actually blogged about this and said I didn't like it, but my flatmate Dora (very wise) told me to use water on my face first and then the eye-makeup remover and it works so well. I just wet my face, apply the remover to a cotton wool pad and gently wipe and it removes every trace! This was a free gift, so I'm not sure if I'll pay full price for a big one because there are good ones for a few pounds that do an almost as good job.
♥ Sigma Flat Top Kabuki Brush: I have so much love for this brush! Recently I've been using it for applying foundation and it's honestly INCREDIBLE. I doubt I'll ever use anything else. It buffs in the foundation so well, making my skin look really flaw-less (as in less flaws, because my skin has been horrific recently). If you haven't tried this for applying foundation, you must!
♥ Missguided Nail Splashes in Misstique (pictured) and Misstaken: I was actually sent these a couple of months back and wasn't a fan of the colours at first. When they're actually on, they look lovely! Misstique reminds me of Models Own Top Turquoise (except TT looks blue on me!) and Misstaken is similar to the Nails Inc. polish included in In Style magazine recently (it has no name). I only used one coat and they dried quickly, lasted a good few days and look amazing! Just goes to show you, never judge a nail polish by its colour. Or something.
♥ MAC Wonder Woman blush in Amazon Princess: I love digging out products that haven't seen any love in months. This is such a lovely colour, I think it will be my blush of the moment for a while!
I love that nail polsih colour! I have not really tried any of these, except the Cliniue makeup remover that I don't really get on with...
ReplyDeleteLove the look of that nail polish, such a gorgeous teal colour! Have been desperate to try a Sigma brush for AGES, looks so much more dense than the Mac 187 so I don't doubt that its awesome, but I hate their bloomin' UK-Unfriendly website ;P xx
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of the nail polish - havent tried any of their nail varnishes but I think I might need to buy that one! x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to have to try that brush, heard so many good things about it!
ReplyDeleteI want the kabuki so much, I really must invest in it! Never heard anything bad about it. This nail colour is quite interesting.
ReplyDeletewhere do you buy your sigma brushes from?
ReplyDeletewould really appreciate if you could message & tell me :)

ReplyDeleteThat Clinique product is amazing too! Xx
I love the nail colour! I keep hearing great things about the sigma kabuki brush! I usually just use a sponge or my fingers to apply foundation but I've heard such good reviews about it I might have to 'invest' :)

that brush is one of my favorites! And that polish color looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteI never believe "firming" claims either, haha. Oooh, so jealous of your Wonder Woman by MAC purchase. I desperately want something from the range (mostly because of the AWESOME packaging!) but totally can't afford it.

Love that colour of nail polish, looks beautiful! Oh I might check out the lotion! I have dry knees/elbows at the moment which need some tlc!
ReplyDeleteThat nail polish colour is gorgeous! I bite my nails horrifically, so polish usually looks silly on them, but I might have to attempt growing them out again to get this!
ReplyDeleteAnd I was so desperate to get my hands on a Wonder Woman blush, you're so lucky you've got one!
If I had more money I'd totally get one of those flat top brushes. Maybe if I can earn a bit more I'll have to invest!
If you want an alternative to the nail polish, 17 at Boots do a gorgeous turquoise colour (the bottles with the silver lid) and they're pretty cheap too and last for a good few days. I wear it to death haha. That and Models Own lilac! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip for using the Clinique makeup remover. I usually just use plain baby oil but I've been finding these Clinique bottles all over my room from the free gifts.. Now I'll use them :)
ReplyDeleteI love your monthly favourite posts! You inspired me to do my first everyone this month :) let me know what you think of it! x
ReplyDeleteGreat fav's. Love the new blog look x
