Review: Skincare Update - New Additions.

It's no secret that I am addicted to skincare, so I just had to post about a few new pieces of skincare I have added in to my routine recently.

I had heard about Eve Lom before and seen it in Space NK but never had the chance to give it a whirl, it's rather pricey but I really believe skincare (along with foundation) is something that's worth spending money on. I've been using the Eve Lom Morning Cleanser recently, it's a lovely lightweight balm which you apply to dry skin, massage in and leave for a couple of minutes in the morning, before wiping off with warm water. I love cleansing balms and this has to be king of them all, it leaves my skin looking so healthy and glowing.

After this, I pop on the Eve Lom Intense Hydration Serum, another pricey number which I'm not sure I could justify purchasing but oooh it's absolutely worth it. My skin seems to adore this (honestly, such expensive taste this face has!), I apply it morning and night for an intense concentration of hydration and my skin feels so soft and looks a lot healthier after use. You only need a small amount so I'm expecting to get a fair amount of use out of this bottle of gold. It used Hyaluronic Acid to leave skin looking plumped and hydrated.

Next up is a product that I've had for a little while now but I've only just come to truly appreciate. RENs AHA Concentrate is a bit like the Alpha H Liquid Gold, but not as harsh. I find myself reaching for the REN version a lot more as it seems to agree with my skin so much more. I try to apply this neat, without moisturiser or anything afterwards as I think these types of products work best like that, I use it at night and in the morning it's like I have the skin of a baby! It's so soft and smooth and looks a lot healthier.
I probably use this three times a week and I love the results it gives.

Lastly, is of course this new Origins number, the Spot Remover Blemish Pads. I love Origins and my skin is prone to blemishes so I've been sweeping these over my face morning and night. I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin in just the last couple of weeks, mostly with blemishes healing up a lot quicker than usual. Usually blemish pads like this are so drying and stripping, but these are quite gentle and my skin doesn't feel tight afterwards which is a good sign.

What do you think of my new skincare bits?

  2. Holy crap that Eve Lom serum is expensive! Don't think I could ever fork over that much cash for a serum!

REN products are lovely though, some are pricey but for the most part are affordable if you have a bit of spare cash lying around.

  8. I love the look of all of these products! I am also a fan of balm-like clensers - I really prefer something that doesn't foam up. I have never come across Eve Lom where I live, but after hearing about it so much it is making me really want to try some of their products out!

  18. Does anyone know the best place to get Origins products in (or shipped to) Australia? The spot remover pads aren't on eBay (bugger!) and the website deosn't ship here!
