For a while I've been after a good scrub and mask, I tried a sample of a Decleor mask from the last Feel Unique beauty box and really liked it, so I decided it was worth spending the money on a full size product.
In the end, I went for a different scrub than the sample I had (I bought the Double Radiance Scrub) and the Instant Purifying Mask to use with it.

I try to exfoliate and use a mask once or twice a week, and I've been using these products for about a month now and they've really improved the overall appearance of my skin.
The Double Radiance Scrub is a fresh smelling exfoliator with jojoba beads to gently buff away dead skin cells. As it contains jojoba beads, it's not massively abrasive which I was slightly disappointed about as I like to really polish my skin, but I've seen great results with this product and my skin has looked so radiant afterwards.
My skin is gently scrubbed to reveal a brighter complexion without feeling irritated or red.
I follow the scrub with the Instant Purifying Mask, which is aimed at combination/oily skin types. I prefer clay-based masks as I think they make more of a difference to my combination skin. This is meant to leave skin purified, imperfections reduced and a matte finish, which definitely appeals to me.
I've had a few blemishes as of late due to lack of sleep so I've really needed a bit of help from my skincare routine, and this has really helped my oily t-zone as well as helping to clear blemishes.
Although these two products aren't from the same range, I chose products which are aimed at what my skin needs - the scrub helps to brighten while the mask deals with excess sebum and imperfections - and I think these are really working for me.
The price is slightly steep, especially as both of these products are only 50ml, but you get what you pay for. My skin has been noticeably clearer and more radiant since I've started using these products and I'll definitely be trying more from Decleor.

What Decleor products would you recommend?
I've not used Decleor before, but these sound great. I agree with what you say too about getting what you pay for with skincare x

I'm so confused about scrubs - I love how they make my skin feel, but I hear conflicting reports about how good they are for your skin (some people say they scratch and damage it?) Anyone got any opinions about them?

I too have never tried this brand. With regards to Emilys comment above I think some scrubs of course can cause damage but this is generally down to the person using them. If you use correctly and gently then I see no harm in them. x
ReplyDeletethese sound really good x
ReplyDeleteI love reading your skincare posts as it sounds like you like very similar products to me. Just gonna go ask you a question on Formspring now about the purifying mask! xxx
