I was lucky enough to get this gorgeous purse for Christmas. It's actually more of a birthday present, as I wanted something a bit special that I could get for my 21st and seeing as I don't wear watches and couldn't choose any jewellery, I set my heart on a gorgeous Miu Miu purse.

It's probably one of the loveliest things I own, the colour is gorgeous - a peachy/coral pink.

I've had a massively eventful couple of weeks since I've been home, a lot of time has been spent seeing friends in Glasgow, as well as celebrating my 21st birthday on Wednesday and a night out in Dundee.
Last night I went out in Aberdeen (I like travelling, clearly) for a Flood of Red gig and a waltz on the dancefloor afterwards.

Tomorrow is Christmas, pretty exciting! I hope everyone has an amazing day! Eat loads xo.

21st Birthday.

I am finally 21 years old! A little post to say thank you for all the birthday love you've left on Twitter/Facebook today, it really means a lot!
I've spent the day drinking champagne and eating too much, and got myself a pretty sweet new Canon EOS 600D camera!

I'll hopefully see my besties again over the next few days, really can't wait! Hopefully this year will bring lots of fun things!

I'll start off by saying I should have blogged about this months ago! This is a limited edition AW11 collection, so you have probably heard of it by now - and I can confirm these products are still online.
I love Topshop makeup, I didn't think I would but I have a fair amount of the range now and it's hard to fault it. The packaging is lovely, and I do think the quality is great, especially considering the price.

I really love this little Eye and Lip set, consisting of a black eyeliner and a nude lip pencil. I didn't really own a kohl eyeliner before this, so I can't really say how it compares to others. Kohl eyeliner isn't something I usually wear, but I find this is good for defining eyes for an evening look.
I haven't got a lot of use from the nude lip pencil, although it is good for shading in the lips before using a light shade of lipstick.

The eye palette is so cute, the shades are just what you need to create a day or night look. I often use one of the lighter shades alone during the day, or as a highlighter at night with a mixture of the other shades on the lid. The mirror makes it easy to have in your bag for travelling or for touch ups during the evening.

Finally, the blush and bronzer duo is such a great idea. I never really use bronzer so I kind of swirl the blusher and bronzer together to create a nice warm shade.

I'd love to try a few other items from this collection, including the much talked about Pillow Talk lipstick (although I think this may have sold out now!). What have you tried from the Smoke and Mirrors collection?  

LIPSY SS12 Press Day.

I recently attended the Lipsy S/S '12 press day, showcasing the items they're bringing out next season. In all honesty, Lipsy isn't a brand I wear - in fact I don't think I own anything from them. However, this collection was my favourite of any SS12 offerings I've seen so far.
I had a hard time choosing a selection of images to blog about, there's quite a few to see here! They're still doing their usual party dresses, but have also branched out to casual, pretty daywear.

I absolutely love everything! The "Monaco" collection is definitely one to look out for, especially that beaded collar shirt, it's very me!
