This Week I've Been Wearing... #11.

I, like most, have been feeling a little under the weather recently - and what's better for cheering yourself up than a night in with your favourite products to make you feel as good as new again (along with tea in a Cath Kidston mug and clean, floral bedding!).

One of my all time favourite facial exfoliators is this REN Micro Polish Cleanser, this is my second tube (and I don't repurchase products often!) and I still love it just as much as I did the first time round. This is the perfect abrasive yet not too harsh exfoliator, it's gritty without feeing like sandpaper and it leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. I usually use this before a detox mask and then move on to a hydrating mask for perfect Saturday night skin.
Next up, my hair needs a weekly detox cleanse so I use this
Clarifying Detox Shampoo from Phyto. It really works to give the hair a thorough wash and it removes any product build up, which is great for dry shampoo lovers like myself. This is the best detoxing shampoo I've tried and it's one I always go back to.

After my recent spray tan, I've dug out my tube of
XEN-TAN Absolute Luxe to ensure my skin is glowing and healthy. I've really warmed to having a bit of colour and I reckon I'll be keeping this up. You can't go wrong with XEN-TAN and I love the healthy colour it gives my skin. No streaks, just a healthy, natural looking tan.
Lastly on the list of pamper products is this Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream, I've been after an eye cream for a while now and this has won me over. It's nourishing and has a soothing, cooling effect which I've never experienced in an eye cream before.

Moving on to makeup, I've dug out an old favourite for a shimmery glow - the NARS Miss Liberty highlighter. I haven't worn this in some time but I think it's perfect for the party season. The shimmer isn't over the top and it looks perfect with a coral or peachy blush.
Another oldie but goodie is this Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze, I saw it sitting in my eyeshadow drawer and realised how much I love it. It's got a really light shimmer and looks perfect all over the lid. I usually reach for this on nights out, you can't really go wrong with it and it always makes my eyes stand out.

Finally, another
L'Oreal Rouge Caresse, this time in Dating Coral. I've been hunting down this shade for some time now and finally found it recently. Needless to say, it's rarely been off my lips and I think the coral shade is perfect for daily wear. My lips can't really handle anything but glossy lip products during the winter so these lip products are very much appreciated!

24 Days of Christmas with Liz Earle.

December is my favourite month, I love Christmas and everything that comes with it! It's also the month of my birthday, so there's a lot of partying that happens! I was lucky enough to be gifted this incredible advent calendar from Liz Earle, it includes sample sizes of all their best products so it's ideal for those who are more beauty-lovers than chocoholics (definitely me!).

Like your usual advent calendar, a treat sits behind each of the 24 windows, ready to be opened. There are sample sized products from their skincare, haircare, body and fragrance ranges - and even a little muslin cloth I see from a quick glance at the back.

This is a really lavish gift or treat for yourself, I'm really excited to be opening the first door today and it's definitely going to add to the excitement leading up to Christmas.
It's a great way to try more from the brand and give yourself a lovely treat everyday.
