Boy, London.

Tshirt - Boy London
Skirt - Miss Selfridge

A very casual outfit from me today, since I was only hopping over to Bluewater to return some things. I actually ended up just buying more though, but it doesn't count when it's returns because it's not real money is it?!
I ended up getting some things from MAC including a couple of blushers, Soft and Gentle MSF and a lipstick. I will probably do a post about these soon!
Other things included some flatforms, a black polka dot shirt, some bits from Lush, a clutch bag and Benefit Coralista blush.

The beauty blogging community has been a bit awful recently, it's horrible when other people make you question whether you really want to do something anymore.
I feel like my name has been defaced a bit, so just to clarify I have never, ever said anything negative about anyone that's curvy, obese or otherwise. My tweets which were apparently offensive were quite clearly referring to my brothers girlfriend, who is pregnant! And believe me, she is huge. She's due in a week and I will be an auntie for the first time! I can't believe this all came from a tweet about that.

I don't want to dwell on it for a second longer but I've had so many, an unbelievable amount, of lovely comments, tweets, messages and emails about it so thank you!
I've met so many lovely people through blogging, and I have so many amazing followers so thank you to everyone who reads, comments, follows, subscribes and shares!
Please let's just all get on!

  2. I think you've took the right attitude toward the situation. You've argued your point and there's nothing more to say about it. People just need to let things lie.

ANYWAY! Your outfit is lovely. It's the first time I've seen a Boy London shirt and liked it. They always looked too oversized for me, so I was never tempted - I'd be lost in a tent of fabric haha

  5. I used to love Bluewater! I miss shopping there since I've moved to Glasgow. I saw the Twitter thing unfold last night, it looks like a big mess blown out of proportion. The girl in question is just dragging out for no reason now, I doubt anyone else was actually offended! I love whatever blusher you have on this pic too, it's gorgeous! x

  11. I'm liking the tee paired with that skirt. The repeat sweater in store is pretty killer!

Oh jeez why do people take things so personally and to a whole new inappropriate level. Sounds like you worked it out maturely anyway.

  12. Very true. It's ridiculous how much drama goes on through the Internet. Would these people really pick a fight if they weren't hiding behind a computer?? On to more important things :) your outfit is very cute, and I've always loved your fresh face makeup, so pretty!

  14. if you said something about your pregnant sister in law in public, no complete stranger would stop you & ask if you were trying to insinuate something else.
    The internet can be ridiculous.

Anyway - you look lovely! & yay for nearly being an aunty x

  16. You look cool and I'm jealous of your new purchases! Ugh I saw all that stuff on Twitter, can't believe she even resorted to accusing you of posting anonymous comments on her blog! Anyway just keep doing what you're doing. And good luck to your sister!

  19. I saw the tweets in question too and it was completely stupid! You have had a bad few days but don't let it get you down. Think about how many people constantly say positive things about your blog and one silly girl makes a negative comment cos she can't understand a situation and apologise when she realises she's wrong. You are amazing ok! Don't stop what you are doing cos we'd all miss you.
    big hugs!

  20. I saw a little of the drama on twitter and was 100% 'on your side', you were not at all in the wrong or rude etc etc so just rise above it, you'll come out on top! Big fan of the miss selfridge skirt, really pretty colour and love it with the tee. Very lovely makeup too!

  29. I like the updo; your 'normal' hair is fab, but this really shows off how pretty you are.

I've followed you for a while, but after you posting about this silly girl, and the grief that Victoria at VIPXO has received, I'm making an effort to 'post positive'.

Great to see you have so many lovely followers.

I was pretty shocked at the fuss kicked up by the other girl, pretty immature in my opinion, especially as it had nothing to do with her.
