After much lusting, I finally purchased Benefits Bella Bamba blusher. This is really an ideal shade of blusher for me. I left my usual NARS Orgasm blusher in London over the festive season so I bought this thinking it would be quite similar.
This is described as a "3D watermelon blush", it aims to give the illusion of sculpted cheekbones. I'm not sure if it does this to any extent, but I love the beautiful coral shade and the gold shimmer.
I think this gives such a natural shimmery flush, without being too obvious. It's really easy to blend in, which is one thing I look for in a good blusher.
As with all Benefit products, the packaging is so cute! I'm glad they decided to change the boxes to an all-in-one as it's much easier to use. I never use the brushes that come with Benefit blushers, does anyone find they're actually that great?
Next on my list is the beautiful new blush, Hervana!
Im very tempted to get Bella bamba, its such a pretty shade! cant wait for hervana.

Ah, it's gorgeous! I've had it on my wishlist ever since it came out, I really must get my hands on it soon. You look beautiful as well, your lashes are sooo amazing. <3 And I love the top you're wearing, so in love with Peter Pan collars at the moment.
ReplyDeletethat really does look like a lovely blusher, although Im not too keen on the price tag haha:)

I can't wait for Hervana to be released in the UK!

Your skin is flawless! I love this blusher, gorgeous! Happy New Year xoxo

I never use the brushes, they're pretty useless... Can't they loose the brushes and drop the pricetag as a result? ;)

I've had my eye on Bella Bamba for a while now. I was going to buy the Powda Wowza Christmas powder set but now everywhere has seemed to have sold out of it. Might just save up my Boots advantage points and buy it that way :) Hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year xx
ReplyDeleteI love Benefit blushes, this one's so pretty! Can't wait for Hervana! x

Wow, this looks so pretty! I agree about the packaging, it looks much more useful without a separate lid and I find the brushes that came with Benefit blushers gave a streaky effect anyway.

Wow, that blusher really is beautiful! Such a lovely pink tone without being too pink. If that makes any sense. :P
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty.

Kate it's been so long...I've missed your face!
ReplyDeleteThis blush looks beautiful on you, definitely one to consider trying. I naturally have quite pink cheeks though, so not convinced it would look anywhere near as nice on me
xx
This looks so beautiful. The new packaging looks a little better too :). X
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely on you! Your make up looks lovely in this photo. Loving the eyebrows. X
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Hervana too! I actually really don't like the new Benefit blush box brushes and use their separate blush brush instead, but I really liked the ones that came in the old boxes.
ReplyDeleteyou have one of the most beautiful eyes kate :)
ReplyDeleteso pretty make up btw!

It looks gorgeous on you! I love Benefit blushes but the brushes might as well not be included, they're such an awkward shape. I use a kabuki brush with their Coralista blush xx
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous here! I always find that Benefit never fails! (: ♥ xo
ReplyDeleteThis blusher looks really lovely on you, I've been wanting to try it for a while :) x
ReplyDeleteOoooh that blusher looks lush.
ReplyDeleteLovely colour. I find the brushes that come with benefit blushes a bit rubbish. They just aren't the right shape for applying blusher. x
ReplyDeleteI got this the other day - I love it!! Just the right amount of shimmer xx
ReplyDeleteI really want to try this but I'm such a big fan of Coralista! I'll definitely be purchasing Hervana though!

the colour looks stunning on you! it really makes your cheekbones - with want for a different word - pop! without looking like you've gone at your face with pink paint... love it!

I just bought this today! After being pinned into the chair by the over enthusistic sales girl and buffed within an inch of my life, I ended up with this blush at home. Playing with it on my own I am glad I got it, very easy to blend and a good colour for me. I do like the brush that comes with it though!

You look so gorgeous in the pictures, the blush is lovely!
ReplyDeletexoxo.
Oh my goodness, this is the most perfect blush, so so pretty! I find the benefit blusher brushes so dodgy, not for me at all. Your eyebrows look brill by the way!
